Privacy Policy

Effective July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DetencionDefensa.com, Inc. (d/b/a SaveMyHomeTrust.io, the "Company," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, phone, professional credentials (bar number, brokerage license), and firm affiliation for attorneys, paralegals, reviewers, and vendors.
  • Client matter information — property address, valuation and equity data, mortgage payoff, title records, government-issued ID, income and asset data required to assemble lender packets and trust instruments.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processors (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and audit-trail events required for legal compliance.

2. How we use information

  • Operate the platform and deliver requested Services.
  • Assemble trust, deed, and lender-packet documents for attorney review.
  • Route flat vendor invoices to third-party vendors and lenders.
  • Comply with Florida Bar, RESPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and secure the platform.

3. How we share information

We share information only as needed to deliver the Services or as required by law:

  • Sorrentino Law Firm, PLLC and the client's independent attorney of record, for legal review and execution.
  • Vetted third-party vendors (title, BPO, appraisal, lenders, brokers) that the attorney and client engage to complete a matter.
  • Payment processors, hosting providers, email/SMS providers, and analytics providers acting as our service providers under written data-protection terms.
  • Authorities when required by valid legal process.

We do not sell personal information. Client data-file releases to lender or buyer partners occur only with the client's written RESPA-safe consent.

4. Security

The platform uses TLS in transit, encryption at rest for stored documents, row-level access controls on our database, and audit logging of every privileged action. No system is perfectly secure; we work continuously to protect the information you entrust to us.

5. Retention

We retain matter, engagement-letter, and audit-trail records for the period required by Florida Bar recordkeeping rules and applicable law, and for as long as necessary to defend legal claims. You may request deletion of an account that is not tied to an open matter by contacting us.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including California and the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise a right, email us at legal@savemyhometrust.io. We will verify your identity before responding.

7. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders.
