Refund Policy

Effective 2026. This policy applies to fees charged by DetencionDefensa.com, Inc. (d/b/a SaveMyHomeTrust.io).

1. Verified-lead sale — full refund on lender rejection

Where SaveMyHomeTrust.io sells a verified data lead to a HELOC or Non-QM lender on an exclusive flat-fee basis, the fee is earned only upon the lender's acceptance of the file as verified. If the exclusive-buyer lender rejects the file as non-verified within the review window stated in the buyer agreement, the fee is refunded in full to the lender and the file returns to inventory. Fees are never contingent on loan funding (RESPA §8 compliance).

2. Platform / SaaS fees

Monthly platform subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and preserves access through the end of the paid period.

3. Attorney trust funds (IOLTA)

Any client funds tied to a legal engagement with Sorrentino Law Firm, PLLC are held in the firm's IOLTA trust account and governed by Florida Bar Rules 5-1.1 and 4-1.5. Unearned attorney fees are refundable directly by the firm; SaveMyHomeTrust.io does not hold, disburse, or refund attorney trust funds.

4. Third-party pass-through costs

Fees paid to third-party vendors (mini-title, BPO, appraisal, recording, lender underwriting) are pass-through and non-refundable once the vendor has performed the work, regardless of file outcome.

5. How to request a refund

Send refund requests to support@savemyhometrust.io with the matter ID and invoice number. We respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten (10) business days.
